No, I’m not obsessed with the all in one tablets. Or maybe I am. I am using tablets for my washing machine and my dishwasher. And now I just discovered a tablet for cleaning! This video is not sponsored, just my own experiments with tablets.

ECO FRIENDLY AND NON TOXIC CLEANING TABLETS
While the tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine have a different use case where they make it easier with the right formulation of ingredients, these tablets for cleaning have mainly 3 key benefits:
They are eco friendly. Why?! Every time we buy a Colin or a Mr Muscle or any other brand - they come with a separate bottle. These bottles are difficult to recycle and almost always end up in landfills that pollute our environment
They are of lower cost - one liter bottle of your favorite cleaner can cost you upwards of Rs. 140. Each of these tablets will cost you about Rs. 75.
They are space savers - one tablet with its can can really be stored away easily unlike a bottle of cleaner. But I don’t think many people buy multiple of these bottles in one shot - so not a big benefit in my opinion
But does it really clean well? Let’s take it for a spin: I purchased the glass cleaners which can be used for cleaning any shiny surfaces - like fridges, shower doors, glass and so on. I’ll try it on my shower door and fridge.
Creating the solution is very easy as well - just drop the tablet in the bottle, fill water, shake after 2 minutes. The plastic film is said to be water soluble. Easy peasy.
So here’s a before view of my shower door with a lot of limescale and water marks - in my defense, I left it uncleaned for this experiment :P. I’m going to use the same approach I use when I use a standard cleaner - spray, leave on for 5 min, scrub and squeegee or wipe based on whatever you generally use. And here is an after. Pretty good I must say!
I will do the same for my fridge - here is a before. Now spray, leave on for 5 min, wipe. And here is an after of the fridge. Again not bad!
So does it work well? My take on it is - it is not as strong as a standard pre-formulated cleaning agent. But seeing the before and after - it does do the job really well.
